Lighting Symposium 2023

Jingying Dong attended Light Symposium 2023 in Stockholm. She presented a review study on the reliability of using simulating low vision to represent the spatial perception of people with visual impairments. Research findings have demonstrated that the reliability of simulating low vision tools is contingent upon the scale of the space and the display pattern. Combining it with immersive virtual reality could be one direction to enhance its effectiveness. The full paper is in the process of publication.
