New staff in AIL
Zhibin Wu is an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow at the Department of Architecture, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany. Born in 1993, Hengyang, Hunan Province, China. He graduated from Hunan University with a bachelor's degree in June 2015, and was admitted to Hunan University with honors to pursue his PhD degree, and then went to the Technical University of Denmark in the year 2018-2019. D. degree in Civil Engineering from Hunan University in June 2020, and in August 2020, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the SinBerBEST Center at UC Berkeley, from September 2021 to November 2023, he has been a Humboldt Scholar at the Department of Architecture, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany. From January, 2024 to now, he is researcher in AIL, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany.
His research interests include key interdisciplinary fundamental issues in the fields of comfort and energy efficiency, human physiology, and health under the multifactorial coupling of the built environment. He is committed to the realization of healthy and energy-efficient buildings. Focusing on the international strategic needs of healthy and energy-efficient buildings, he has published about 40 papers, including 17 papers in top international journals and conferences as the first author or corresponding author.
