New staff in AIL
Alexandra Riemann obtained her B.Sc and M.Sc from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and has 4 years of professional experience working as an architect. There her primary focus was set on publicly accessible buildings, new buildings as well as historical buildings. During her studies Alexandra was able to gain experience on the subject of accessibility as a student assistant at the Center for Digital Accessibility and Assistive Technology (ACCESS@KIT). There she supported the development of a haptic 3D-printed Campus model. Alexandra’s studies were awarded with the Deutschlandstipendium. Her strong interest in working interdisciplinary led to several courses on sustainable development at the Centre for Cultural and General Studies (ZAK). Next to her work as a research assistant, she is contributing to social topics and trainings related to violence prevention and de-escalation.
