In this course, students will be confronted with the challenges and creative opportunities of designing spaces for healthy indoor experience, aging and well-being in general. Based on the literature, the objective of this seminar will be to research on and explore spatial elements and architectural qualities that can be used to promote occupant independence and healthy indoor experiences. The course is structured around readings, analyses of space and a design exercise. This seminar will also provide students with the opportunity to test assistive devices and to conduct measurements, the analysis of which will provide a concrete basis for analyzing accessibility and indoor environmental quality.

Module grade calculation: The module grade is the grade of the examination of another type.

Competence Certificate: Examination of another type in the form of project presentations.
